Unseen Liminality Controls

Default bindings come from the official Roblox experience page. Open settings with Q to rebind if your session supports it. Mobile and console players use on-screen buttons instead of keyboard keys.

PC Keyboard

These are the default PC controls as listed on the official game page. Sprint and crouch are essential for escaping the Mimic and navigating tight hotel corridors.

Mobile & Console

Touch and controller layouts use on-screen buttons. Sprint is a dedicated button rather than Shift. Increase brightness and use headphones — audio cues matter more on smaller screens.

  • Use the virtual joystick for movement; tap sprint when fleeing entities.
  • Flashlight and camera appear as equip buttons on the HUD.
  • Settings are accessible from the in-game menu icon.

Flashlight & Camera

Press F to equip the flashlight. Left-click toggles the beam while held. Battery is unlimited — use it freely during power flickers in the Lobby and Poolrooms.

The camera captures high-quality screenshots for documenting AoI. The shutter does not alert entities. Avoid opening the Album UI during a Mimic chase — it blocks vision.

Settings & Rebinds

Press Q to open settings. Rebinding availability may vary by platform and update. Developers recommend max graphics for lighting cues that help navigation.

Pro Tips

Max volume helps detect Mannequin shuffles and Mall ambience shifts. Screenshot suspicious doors — AoI often hide behind one-way geometry.

  • Toggle Ctrl mouse lock when examining corners without drifting view.
  • Crouch in maintenance wings to hear footsteps before turning corners.
  • Use V zoom to read distant signage in the Dead Mall.
